รู้สึกโกรธตัวเองทุกครั้งที่ตื่นสาย

Always get angry to myself every time I get up late.

กินซโฮร(เกือบ)ไม่ทัน...

Almost not able to have Sahur

หงุดหงิด...หงุดหงิด

So irritated…

ลืมดุอาอฺที่อ่านก่อนนอนไปซะแล้วหรอ

Wait…did I forget what I pray when I am about to sleep?

Bismika Allahuma Ah’ya Wa Amutu’

ลืมไปแล้วหรอ ว่าเราไม่ได้เป็นเจ้าของชีวิตตัวเอง

Nothing belongs to me. So does myself…Did I forget it?

ไม่แม้กระทั่งปลายเล็บ

Not even a tip of my nails

ที่ยังได้ตื่นขึ้นมา คว้าขนมปังเข้าปากสองแผ่น ตามด้วยน้ำอีกหนึ่งแก้ว

That now I am awake, able to grab 2slices of bread and a cup of water

While some people are not able to do so

That my brain is still functioning, and other organs respond well.

While some people won’t be able to have so

แล้วถ้าหากว่าคนๆนั้นเป็นฉันเองละ

What if that person is me? What if I am not awake anymore?

ถ้าฉันไม่ตื่นอีกแล้ว...ฉันจะทำไง

What should I do?

ไม่พร้อมเลยจริงๆ

No, I don’t think I am ready. Not at all

หงุดหงิด...หงุดหงิด

So irritated and shiver

หลับตาก่อนดีกว่า

I better close my eyes first

แล้วก็สูดอากาศก่อนโตๆเข้าปอด

Take a big ball of air into my lungs…

Face this world for another day
